Joseph Pasquale Leuzzi

Joseph Pasquale Leuzzi, 94, on February 29, 2024 of Ramsey, NJ formerly of Brooklyn, NY. Beloved husband of Maureen. Loving father of Craig and wife Roselyn, Bruce and wife Samantha and the late Chris (2020). Predeceased by his first wife of 59 years Anna (2017). Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Eden and Asher of Weston, CT. Joseph was that rare gentlemen whose steely sharp logical mind, competitive drive, practical bent and quick-wit was combined with a kind, loving, humble, compassionate and gentle soul.  His warm, comforting and happy disposition gently warmed and enlivened the frostiest and jumpiest room.  His clear, logical and agile mind quickly solved the most complicated personal, and technical, problems in the simplest and most direct way, and he somehow explained the solution so all could easily understand.  He was a good athlete who took up tennis and golf later in life, and, despite his roley poley physique and late start, was able to become proficient and competitive at both to the head shaking chagrin of his better trained, physically fit and more accomplished competition.  Joseph was a Veteran of the US Air Force flying the top jets of his day as a radar intercept officer - a Top Gun Goose of his day. He was an active parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church and the Adorno Fathers. He was a select and consummately professional New York real estate attorney for many years. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 - 4 PM & 7 PM - 9 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 12:30 PM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joseph to Adorno Fathers.
